Who Am I?

I offer one-on-one teaching via Zoom, and tailor the lessons to each students' needs and capabilities. I find that patience, listening and humor help tremendously. Particular attention is paid to each individual's progress and comprehension. I frequently illustrate reading practice with images from the web so that students gain a solid understanding of their subject. 

I taught at a private institute in Tehran, Iran in 1978. After completing the contract I went on to India and taught in a village school in rural Bihar. I also taught at a private language school in Kiev, Ukraine online. I moved to the USA 40 years ago and have taught many students in different states.
